Awesome idea using the collander and bucket as a mash tun. Cheap and effective.
I'm going to try it toady, but I'm going to use a braided hose instead of the colander.

this is awesome!!! it is such a easy way to step into all grain for my first attempt.
There is real simple beauty in this setup. the collander is too funny. if i did not already have a sketchy all grain set up i would try this for sure
what would happen if you used a coffee filter to get the grain particles out?
I enjoyed this a lot! I learn a lot from watching other people's technique and the equipment they use (e.g., colander). Nice job!
